Volunteer Form


Setup and Pre-festival Work bees - Bonnie McCreery
set up tarps and shelters, etc. general repairs construction projects as needed grass cutting/ weed whipping sign painting/ put up signs firewood/sawdust getting


Camping - ?
help designate camping areas,put up signs, haul firewood,sawdust, arrange garbage can location and set up designated campfires


Performers Committee Coordinators - Ricki Kneifel and Barb Henderson 250-842-0444


Equipment Lock-up Dave Stevens
keep track of equipment in "lock up" and haul equipment to various stages.


First Aid - Mark Larsen
must be a qualified first aid person, nurse or physician. Assist festival goers in need of basic first aid, sand in eyes, bug stings, sunburns etc. and arrange for transportation to hospital if required


Gate - Kathy Clay
greet incoming festival goers, calculate admission/camping fees, take money and make change assure people on "the lists" get in easily. Dispense appropriate armbands to entrants


Grounds Darren Pierzchala 842-6414
visit each garbage container and emptying as needed, replacing bags hauling garbage to garbage truck


Hospitality - Kathy Stockner
preparing food (under supervision), serving food, keeping hospitality area clean and organized dish washing


Kids' Area - Samantha Briggs
assist children with crafts and workshops, face painting, keeping area clean and replenished. Directing children and parents to first aid and washrooms. Ensure children play safely and refill pools as needed


Security - Ron Mould
patrol assigned area in pairs, fill in zone logs to keep everyone updated on any problem spots and act as a festival host


Sound Orlando Wiebe
help with stage set up before festival and during festival. Assist sound personel with setup for individual performer's needs.


Food Concessions -Dayle Tetreau


Marketplace - Carole Huel


Volunteer Coordinator - Noreen O'Hara
introduce incoming volunteers to their jobs, confirm scheduling with volunteers, sign up last minute volunteers, posting potential jobs, lost and found, dispense sun block, answer questions and assist festival guests.
